Antonella Arietano is a talented Swiss author, who published three novels with Triskell Edizioni (www.triskelledizioni.it): “Cuore”, “I Talenti Delle Fate”, and “Amber L’Isola Perduta”. She is an energetic and eclectic kindergarten teacher, who is studying Educational Sciences at the University of Milano-Bicocca.
When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
My passion for writing started during my childhood! Indeed, when I was nine years old I wrote my first short story. Since then, I have never stopped writing and I always nurtured the dream of publishing my writings.
What is one of the most surprising aspects about writing books?
The extraordinary richness in the world you live. I really love to describe in great detail the characters in my novels and cross their stories. Sometimes I have the feeling to write my novels with real characters.
What are you working on now?
I am currently writing a new novel. Two years ago I started a project called “Fata in Fabula”. It focuses on another of my big passions: classic fairy tales. I regularly organize workshops about fairy tales. It is like a fantastic journey into the fairy tale land for both adults and kids, carried out for a proper development of our self-esteem and our communication skills. What kind of jewelry do you like?
In terms of jewelry, I always wear earrings and rings. What I consider when I purchase them are their original and unique features. In fact, I love artistic designs. I like several gemstones, such as rose quartz, amethyst, amber, and blue chalcedony. With respect to metals, I prefer to wear cool colors, such as sterling silver or white gold.
Who or what is precious in your life?
My children Stefano and Elisa are the most precious persons in my life. Many of my actions and the majority of the decisions I make are focused on the possibility of offering them all the peace of mind they deserve.
