Spring has finally arrived, which means that summer is right around the corner. These are the major trends we are going to see everywhere for the spring summer 2018.
Stars of the Runways
Star of the runways was the trench coat. The key to find the perfect trench is the fit. The most flattering style is cut right at the knee. Verify that the trench has a belt, because you can tighten it to create a waist, which will instantly make you look slimmer. Trenches are universally flattering, so they are a must-have in your spring wardrobe.
Detailed sleeves are one of the most noteworthy fashion trends for this season. In addition, pencil-skirts have made a major comeback. This time around, they are longer-lined and therefore more flattering. This summer fashion trends will also see the rise of the statement short, from the tailored, long-line varieties, to the close-fitting, cycling types.
From Fall Winter 2017-2018
Transparent looks are again one of the top trends, with silhouettes that would normally provide full coverage appearing in sheer materials instead. Ruffles, which have always been a symbol of grace and femininity, are one of my favorite trends for spring summer 2018. Denim total looks are again very popular this season. Labradorite and amber are wonderful gemstones to combine with denim!
Unconventional Looks
Sometimes you get tired of wearing classic looks and you want to try something different, am I right? To create unconventional looks, loud logos are just perfect! While there are plenty of possibilities when it comes to choosing how to wear them, I think the choice is best kept simple with a T-shirt or bag showing their confident lettering. In addition, fanny packs or bum bags are back for spring/summer 2018. Worn diagonally, around the waist or slung low, there is a style for everyone.
Prints
With regard to prints, one of the most elegant fashion trends at this moment is polka dot print. Furthermore, checks have made a major comeback and if your wardrobe is hosting anything in the geometric print, then wear it. Floral prints are no surprise for spring. However, one of the most fun fashion trends at this moment is vintage florals. There has been a resurgence on the runways for vintage-look florals, the kind women would have once worn in the ’40s and ’50s.
Color Palettes
If you want to bring brightness and happiness into your wardrobe, this summer opt for vibrant, primary colors. However, pastel colors are one of the hottest fashion trends as well. Pastel delicate shades create a sense of elegance, grace and sophistication. If Ultra Violet is a must-have for 2018, lilac is a must-have for the spring season!
